Bingo

Well last night marked something I have never done before!! Winning two back to back multi table tourney's

First hour saw virtually no hands until late in the hour I picked up QQ calling an aggressive raiser who bet out on the turn with A-6 OS to a ten high board. I called and doubled up while relieving him of his tournament duties.

Second hour lost a hand I should have never played right after break for 1400 chips

3rd hr moved to a new table and saw nothing until we were down to 18 players. Stack was down to 4400 until I started picking up hands. Made the final table with 44 seconds left before break and 35k in chips. In the one hand before break I picked up pocket 6's and picked 24k against overcards that never hit.

First hand after break picked up pocket AA. Min. raised from first position with no callers to pick up the blinds. It was a quiet hour after that picking up a few small hands. We played 4 handed for over an hour because an agreement to chop was held up by one player who wanted to chop 2 ways not 4. He got knocked 3rd by my straight on the river. this gave 138K of the 244k chips in play and I chopped with the remaining player.

When your hot your hot. I have made over 3.5 wks of salary in my last 11 table hours. But we all know that can come and go.

Still gun shy on the 100k guaranteed tourney, it is a big entry fee and seems like alot to lose. based on that feeling I dont think I am ready yet.

I am not playing until Friday at 7p in the $150 multi. Until then

Here we Go

First Post so here we go!

They always say "a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work." Well I don't Fish! I Play Hold em and absolutely love every minute of it. Well almost every minute. I have been playing for about three years and have gotten progressively better at the game. This year actually looks as though it may be the breakout year for consistent profit. I have cashed in April, twice in March and once in Feb. for significant amounts of amateur money. Most recently was yesterday in the $145 bounty tournament at Mohegan Sun in CT. I finished First!!

So like every other poker player I think often what it would be like to play for a living. I wouldnt have to be rich but boy if you could live comparable to your working life wouldnt that be something!

So I thought I would share thoughts and opinions along the way and see what you have to say as well. Hopefully I can commit to the post and get on here a few days a week.
